No birthdays show up

Birthpin reads birthday events from your calendars. Check that calendar access is allowed (Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Birthpin) and that the Birthdays calendar is switched on in Birthpin. Birthdays come from the dates saved in your contacts.

The Lock Screen bubble didn't appear

Make sure Live Activities are allowed for Birthpin (Settings → Birthpin → Live Activities). Open Birthpin now and then so it can schedule the upcoming birthday mornings. The backup notification at your chosen time also lets you show it with one tap.

Why did the bubble disappear in the evening?

iOS ends every Live Activity after about 12 hours. With an 08:00 start, Birthpin stays until roughly 20:00.

Ages or Call / Message buttons are missing

These need the optional Contacts permission and a birth year or phone number saved in the contact.

WhatsApp doesn't open

Install WhatsApp, or switch the messaging choice in Birthpin back to Messages.
